ZDRAVO I ZELENO (Healthy and Green) is a civil society organization founded from the need of individuals to actively contribute to improving quality of life in local communities by connecting the fields of environmental protection and public health. By connecting the professional community, local authorities, the media, and citizens, we build bridges of knowledge, communication, and action leading toward a healthier and greener environment.
Public Health
Public health is the foundation of a strong community, as it improves the quality of life of all citizens, promotes health through organized societal effort, and prevents the onset of disease.

Zdravo i zeleno
Projects
Project goal: The general objective of the project is to improve students’ environmental awareness through innovative approaches to learning. The specific objectives are establishing a functional outdoor classroom as a permanent resource of the school, and improving students’ knowledge and attitudes about the importance of environmental protection and a healthy environment.
The general objective of the project is to raise young people’s awareness of the importance of taking responsibility for civic participation and social engagement, through non-formal education, intercultural cooperation, and the development of the necessary skills. The project empowers young people to take an active role in the personal, as well as the social and civic development of their communities, with a special focus on the inclusion of young people in line with European values.
We were founded from the need of individuals to actively contribute to improving quality of life in local communities by connecting the fields of environmental protection and public health.

A representative of the “Zdravo i zeleno” association attended the “EU Opportunities” event in Kragujevac, dedicated to presenting funding sources and support programs available to civil society organizations in Serbia.
