Digitalni svet bez nasilja
Completed projects

Digital World Without Violence

Project goal: The overall aim of the program was to build the capacity of elementary-school-age students, parents, and teachers to prevent, recognize, and respond promptly to digital violence, in order to create a more inclusive and safer digital environment for children.

The specific goal of the program was to determine the level of knowledge, attitudes and behavior of students in relation to digital violence, as well as to assess the need for further education on the safe use of the Internet and clear reporting mechanisms.

Target group: students of primary school age, with the indirect involvement of parents and school experts.

The association “Zdravo i zeleno” implemented the program at the elementary school “Moma Stanojlović” in Kragujevac, where 146 students from the 2nd to the 8th grade were surveyed, after which age-specific workshops were held. The findings show that the digital environment is deeply woven into the everyday life of children, but also that a significant number of students do not know who to report digital violence to, nor do they always recognize its seriousness. The results of the research and the scenarios of the workshops have been combined in a manual intended for parents, teachers, and pedagogues.
